Child Safety Standards
MangalaMatch has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). MangalaMatch is a matrimony service strictly for adults aged 18 and over. This page sets out the standards we uphold to keep children safe, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable law.
Adults only — no under-18s
MangalaMatch is for people aged 18 or over who are legally free to marry. Under-18s are not permitted to create or use an account. We declare an 18+ target audience on the app stores, and where an account is found to belong to a minor we remove it.
Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
We strictly prohibit any content or conduct that sexualises, exploits, endangers or abuses a child, including grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and the creation, possession, solicitation or distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), whether real or AI-generated. We prohibit these in our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, and we enforce them.
How to report a child-safety concern
Anyone can report a profile, message or photo from within the app using the in-app report option, or by emailing our child-safety point of contact at support@mangalamatch.com. Reports of suspected CSAE are treated as the highest priority.
How we respond
We review reports of suspected CSAE, remove offending content and accounts, and preserve relevant evidence. We report apparent CSAE and CSAM to the appropriate authorities and hotlines — including the UK's National Crime Agency (NCA/CEOP), the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), and, where applicable, the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) — and cooperate with law-enforcement investigations. Photos uploaded to MangalaMatch also pass through automated moderation designed to detect and block explicit imagery.
