Acceptable Use Policy

Who may use the service

You must be at least 18 years old and legally free to marry. Accounts are for genuine individuals seeking marriage, or for parents and brokers acting with the consent of the adult they represent. You must not create fake, duplicate or deceptive accounts.

What the service is for

MangalaMatch is strictly for marriage-intent matchmaking. It is not a casual dating, “hook-up” or sexual-encounters service, and must not be used to advertise, seek or arrange sexual services of any kind.

Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• Engage in, promote, or facilitate child sexual exploitation or abuse (CSEA) in any form. We have zero tolerance for this and will report any such activity to the National Crime Agency, the Internet Watch Foundation, and other relevant authorities.
• Engage in, promote, or facilitate human trafficking or sex trafficking of any kind, or use the platform to recruit, coerce or exploit any person for forced labour or commercial sexual exploitation.
• Engage in scam or fraudulent activity intended to deceive or defraud other members or end-users, including romance scams, financial scams, phishing, or requests for money, gifts or financial information under false pretences.
• Impersonate anyone, create fake or misleading profiles, or give false information about yourself or a person you represent.
• Harass, threaten, bully, stalk, defame or abuse any other member, or encourage others to do so.
• Post or send content that is sexually explicit, obscene, hateful, discriminatory, violent, or otherwise unlawful or offensive.
• Solicit money, donations, investments or commercial services from other members, or use the platform for advertising, spam or recruitment.
• Solicit or offer sexual services, or use the platform for prostitution, escorting or any sexually driven activity.
• Arrange or request payment outside the platform for any feature we offer, or attempt to evade our fees.
• Share other members’ personal data, photos or messages outside the platform without their consent.
• Scrape, harvest, crawl, or use bots or automated means to access the service or collect data from it.
• Attempt to interfere with, probe or compromise the security or integrity of the service.
• Use the service for anything illegal or in breach of any applicable law or these rules.

Content standards

Content you upload — profile text, photos and messages — must be your own (or used with permission), accurate, lawful and respectful. Photos must clearly depict the person whose profile they appear on and must not be sexual, explicit or misleading. We screen photos and may remove anything that breaches these standards.

Reporting and enforcement

You can report a profile, message or photo at any time using the in-app report option, or by emailing support@mangalamatch.com. We review reports and may remove content, issue warnings, restrict features, or suspend or permanently delete accounts that breach this policy.

Where we believe conduct is unlawful or there is a risk to someone’s safety, we may report it to the police or other authorities and cooperate with their investigation. See our Law Enforcement Guidelines for how we handle such requests.
